He earned his Bachelor of Music degree and a Performer's Certificate from the renowned Eastman School of Music. He has also been awarded a Master of Music degree from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.

When in Ukraine, he harnessed the power of music to uplift his people during times of strife, organizing benefit concerts that raised funds and spirits amidst the turmoil of war.
